The festival included the corn fest classics like – a wide range of corn-based foods, crafts and games for kids, corn-eating competitions. - Watermelon Festival: The Watermelon Festival in Long Island is again be hosted by the Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck as well as the Harbes Western Farm in Jamesport. - Long Island Wine Harvest Festival: The Long Island Wine Harvest Festival is regarded as the ‘jewel of Long Island.’ The festival will be arranged by the Laurel Lake Vineyards on September 22, 2015. Generally, the North Fork vineyard was created by a group of Chilean and American friends. They provide tours of the facility as well as they offer demonstrations of the winemaking process.
